I just want to say that I tried all of these methods…I had just reinstalled a fresh copy of windows 7 on my computer and after getting all the windows updates, nothing worked. All You Have To Do Is Install The Updates, Click On Start Screen and search up check for updates install all of the updates then restart, dont just install KB there is still others, So install all of them it will take a while. The Windows 10 Button Might not pop straight up, so click the arrow pointing up and the windows 10 button should be there : THIS IS THE RIGHT WAY!!! I have the icon on my desktop and laptp, y problem is with my grandmas computer. She has an HP with windows 7 64 bit. I installed both the updates manually and looked in the installed updates but it is empty. After I ran the microsoft updater fix and tried again but it still is stuck checking for updates. I searched in the windofws file in C drive and there is no gwx file. Reinstall the two updates again and try the third method again, best of luck. If nothing works for you, then you may need to reinstall Windows 7. Is this normal? If not, double click on that icon and do it now. It just opens a window saying Please wait for a split second a closes.

Thanks alot for this, tried metoh 1, had it running for an hour, then I gave up. Tried method 2, took 1 second, and BOM, the app popped up. If you have the right version of windows and all the required software updates and none of the solutions above works, you can try this:. Run taskschd. then right click and run all 4 tasks in the folder. For me the icon to reserve windows 10 appeared immediately. I have also tried all the tricks suggested elsewhere and still no luck.
I think legit and pirated versions have nothing to do with this app, you might have other reason. Click that to reserve your windows copy.
